Join me if you want to actively develop your energetic perception, share your skills and ideas, and question (or learn) some of the theories of Oriental Medicine (OM) and philosophy. Healers and novices are equally welcome.
I am a NYS licensed acupuncturist and Rei Ki practitioner with a science oriented mind exploring what I like to call the “subtle energies of life”. My goal is to better understand OM and confirm, develop or update OM theories to apply to the modern American.
The basic format:
1. Perception of basic structures- auras, chakras, acupuncture points, meridians
2. Explore some topic and/or exchange ideas/techniques from members
3. Brief group Rei ki/energetic treatment to destress/ relax (I’ve treated up to 11 people simultaneously)
Past highlights include:
*Perceiving the energy of the studs/electrical wiring in the walls
*Attempting to work with pendulums
*Tai chi “push hands” without physical contact
*Extending the aura to perceive another person’s organs, bones etc.
*Differentiating Rei ki energy from Qi gong energy
Those who attend are often amazed by the simplicity and ease which they perceive those structures they read about.
Some of my current Interests include:
1. Perceiving the connections of the external meridians, the depth of internal meridians in the physical body and the relationship between the other meridians
2. Developing weight-loss acupuncture protocols that do not involve herbs
3. Realistically see the affect of acupuncture “face lift points”
4. Perceiving the chakras at different levels of the aura and their structure according the Barbara Ann Brennan book-”Hands of Light”
5. Differentiating and describing the different types Rei ki energies
Please don’t plan on the following: lectures, chanting, singing, group meditations, or Rei Ki masters treating each other. (There has been minimal interested in treatment thus far.)
Suggestions are welcome.
I also have office hours for Acupuncture and/or Energetic Treatment on Tuesday/Thursday mornings in Staten Island, the other days at Bay Shore Long Island.
No-fault, Some workers-comp, Some major meds accepted.
