HEALING CRYSTAL BOWL CONCERT

On Friday, June 6th, from 7 to 8:30 pm, Common Ground is pleased to present an evening with Jay Schwed, a Reiki Master and healing sound performance artist.

Jay's formal education is in the area of agriculture, yet his true passion was inspired in 1994 during an Esalen workshop after which he bought his first set of 'singing' crystal bowls. In the following years he perfected his talent for creating vibrational sound healing concerts which incorporate breathing and color imagery.

Jay travels throughout North America presenting The Song of The Healing Crystal Bowls, a chakra healing sound concert. During his presentation the vibrational frequency of the singing bowls is designed to open, clear and re-balance each of the seven major chakras as well as the 'high heart'.

He says,
" I am a travelling sound healer on a journey to facilitate healing throughout the United States. I am here to open the 'high heart', the one heart that connects us to Earth, Spirit and each other. I have been travelling for several years with my entourage of singing crystal bowls in order to assist people in awakening."

The intention of the chakra healing concert is centered on the idea that sounds and vibrations from the singing bowls flow into the body, relax muscles, quiet distractions and noises carried in the conscious and sub-conscious mind and lead to a meditative state.
